We got hit up with some serious unreleased materials this afternoon for possible release in the future. Bruce Thompson stopped by with some crusty 1/4″ master tapes of unreleased 24-Carat Black demos they recorded in ‘74 to follow up to their debut progressive funk opus on Stax, Ghetto: Wealth’s Misfortune.
We also received a cassette master of the unreleased psych LP by Pisces that we’ve been anxiously awaiting to arrive for a few months. It’s got some psychotropic British invasion mind fucks that are similar to the Gandalf LP and sound pretty promising to our ears. It’s always exciting to see the dry erase board start coming to life in three dimensional forms. Pisces has been penciled in for ages and now it’s here, in all its 90 minute cassette glory!
