Numero Group: By The Numbers

Willie Clarke just dropped another few tapes in our lap, likely found in the second bedroom of his Hialeah condo. It’s 1/2″, and looks to contain at least two new tracks, plus the multi tracks from “True Love Don’t Grow On Trees” and “Tired Blood.” The 1/4″s don’t look nearly as promising, both Ampex 456 and sporting track names like, “Gonna Git With U,” and are likely from the early to mid-80s.
