For the few of you not awares, kickstarter.com is a visionary indie venture capital site that allows folks who have spearheaded worthwhile projects but don’t have all the necessary funding to find patrons online. Around the Numero office, we’ve all backed various projects for friends or colleagues, but a special project caught our eye recently, and not just for the Hoosiers movie tie-in. The family of country singer and songwriter Ronnie Henn is working to preserve his legacy on a CD, and described their goals thusly:
Our goal is to produce a substantial, commercial-quality, archival CD package to document our dad’s story–something in the vein of collections by labels such as Numero Group.
We can’t argue with that. We’d love to see what the Henn family comes up with, so if you’re inclined, pay a visit to their kickstarter portal and think about backing the project. Check it out here.
