With apathy at an all time high across these 50 States, we understand your lackluster attitude about heading to the polls today. Gone are the days of Teddy Roosevelt’s “A vote is like a rifle; its usefulness depends upon the character of the user.” And yet, we have a responsibility as citizens to fire that rifle when put in our hands. The current Democrat and Republican fields are bleak, we don’t argue this, so why not throw your vote to the guy who’s running his campaign out of a garage? Tired of your complacent judges sucking away your tax dollars in endless continuation hearings? Do what Ken Shipley does, vote against their return to the bench.
It would be no struggle for us to make a compilation of political songs from our catalog, but we’re really feeling these four this Tuesday morning.
Bill Moss “Sock It To ‘Em Soul Brother”
Chocolate Snow “Inflation”
Syl Johnson “I’m Talkin’ ‘Bout Freedom”
Cyril Ferguson “Gonna Build A Nation”
