Today, we got the only feedback on our liner notes that really matters. We got a call from Louise Boddie from the Boddie Recording Company after reading ten pages of her personal history. She said she “really liked the article” but it “brought back a lot of memories, good and bad.” She had a few corrections, we accidentally put “East” in front of a few streets that (though they are on the East Side) don’t get called East, and we misidentified the neighborhood the first location of the studio was in. This is high praise coming from Mrs. Boddie and really puts some gas in the engine for the last few laps we have to race to get the Boddie Recording Company soundmobile to the finish line.
