A few weeks back we showed a prototype for our upcoming Boddie Recording Co. LP box packaging. It was a bit of a fail. Our office has a special shelf for all of our half-baked ideas, the good ones end up on your shelf. After four different prototypes, we struck gold:

CD:

3 compact discs, 2 booklets, 1 flyer, 1 Boddie catalog, 1 Soul Kitchen x-mas card, all in a cloth-bound file folder and housed in a tip-on slip case.

Vinyl:

5 LPs in a custom kraft album-sized envelop, 2 12″x12″ booklets, 1 flyer, 1 Boddie catalog, 1 Soul Kitchen x-mas card, 1 Boddie 45 envelope, housed in a string and button closed box.

More looks:

Note the tabbed file folders on the CD folder.

String and button closure.

Once the final product arrives we’ll floss the mountains of ephemera stuff inside.
