The first day of the Pisces astrological cycle reminds us to revisit one of our all-time favorite releases: Pisces’ A Lovely Sight, which broke new ground for us in the realm of acid rock. More importantly, however, it has found a place, for many people, in the pantheon of superb psychedelic rock records (unknown or otherwise). While it’s been a few years, the record still sells nearly as well as it did in 2009, when it was first issued, and friends and customers frequently tell us it’s their favorite release (due in no small part to the vocal contributions of Linda Bruner.) And there are more Pisces tracks in the vaults, many with that same hallucinogenic sheen. Here’s a taste of the unheard Pisces:
If you’re one of the few Numerologists who hasn’t checked out Pisces, at least give it a shot to celebrate this magical month.
