Covering 40 decades of intense music industry wizardry in 120 minutes is hard work. With insightful interviews and cameos criss-crossing the red carpet from Cher to Neil Young to Rahm Emanuel to Steven Spielburg (to you get the picture), we were not shocked when Inventing David Geffen reserved precious few frames for our main man Ned Doheny. But behold! Rare footage of a Ned-led “I Can Dream” super jam near the documentary’s conclusion  features Joni and Jackson Browne and all manners of Eagles along the fringes. This occurs at around 1h 49m for those in a hurry. On the PBS website you can watch the whole darn thing (recommended), plus outtakes; one’s called “David Geffen Doesn’t Pay Shipping.” So David, if you’re reading this, the Numero Group will gladly waive shipping costs of your Ned Doheny 2xLP Separate Oceans. Thanks in advance for your patronage!
