Thank you Brooklyn for making this weekend a special one. We’re just now rolling in to Chicago, having driven through the night, but wanted to harness the literary magic associated with sleep deprivation to express our gratitude to everyone who attended, retweeted, and otherwise participated in our Brooklyn immersion experiment.
Wether you sifted through spare Omnibus singles, heaved a box set home, or just said hello, we enjoyed every minute of it.
Thanks to the Berg’n and Bamcinématek for providing a big loud place for us to get weird. Thanks to the Great Georgiana for hooking up the subwoofers and regional bourbon. Take good care of that tree, it is a really nice looking tree.
Thanks to Human NYC for the pop-up spot and Barry from Oneida for being the absolute best temporary neighbor a record label could ever ask for.
We’re sad we had to leave (on very little sleep, so far from a Chili’s), but we had to have to return to Chicago so we can make more great records so we can have something to talk about next year. Thanks again citizens of New York for making the trek to Manhattan and Meserole. Wether you had to walk from Guernsey, bike from Bed-Stuy, or drive from New Jersey, it was great to see each and everyone of you. For the rest of the world, we have a precious few copies of Bedhead Live 1998 that the people of New York did not have room for in their tiny apartments so GET ON IT. Stay in touch, Love, the Numero Group.
